The Ecomuseum
Located at the entrance to ʻOpunohu Bay on Moorea, Fare Natura is the showcase for the richness of Polynesian biodiversity and culture. Its exhibitions are grounded in scientific research spanning biology, geology, anthropology, and ecology. Through aquariums, natural history collections and specimens, photographic exhibitions, informative videos, immersive experiences, and interactive educational activities, Fare Natura invites visitors to explore the island's unique marine and terrestrial ecosystems. The ecomuseum is operated by the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE-PSL).

A full visit of the museum takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Local guides offer a complimentary guided tour of approximately 45 minutes, providing a lively and accessible introduction to the main exhibitions. Visitors may then continue their exploration independently.
A parking area is available at the entrance of the Ecomuseum for Fare Natura guests.
